I purchased this
for my office to save on lunch expenses due to my friend’s strong
recommendation. It fits on my desk and
keeps everything cold. It’s been working great for over 2 years so far.
This unit has two
shelves and a can-rack in the door. The top shelf at its highest setting is
just high enough for a carton of eggs and deep enough for two cartons. A
portion of the bottom is sacrificed to the compressor in the back, but overall,
this refrigerator can hold a lot.
I keep salad,
cheese, turkey, sodas, yogurt, and fruits in it. I purchased a refrigerator temp gauge so I
make sure it stays in the refrigerator temp range. It cycles and doesn't make
much noise. Once I got used to it, I don't notice any more. It's great to have
cold sodas and fresh lunch fixin's handy. This Danby fridge keeps me from being
tempted to spend to much on lunch.
In my opinion,
this is a great compact fridge, as It cools down very fast and is able to keep
everything cold, which is better than all the mini fridges I have used. There
is no freezer section to take up space, so the two racks are deep enough to fit
12 inch pizza boxes. One of the reasons I chose this one was the height. It
fits on my desk under the built in cabinets.
The Energy consumption for this fridge is estimated at $32 a year, which
is fairly economical. Besides, the door
is reversible, and most of the mini fridges of the same size cannot have the
door reversed. My left handed-co-worker
owns the same Danby Compact fridge, and he appreciates the considerate design
and loves the fridge a lot.
For the great price, excellent performance, and surprisingly spacious design, I would very much recommend this to a friend. Please click the above images or visit walmart to get the best price for this product. Thank you.
